Families in Anvaya

"And He said to them, 'Come away by yourselves to a desolate place
and rest a while.' For many were coming and going,
and they had no leisure even to eat."

What was your weekend like?

Since it was a looong weekend, the family decided to spend some time of rest, relaxation, and recreation in our favorite secret weekend get-away: Anvaya Cove Beach and Nature Club.

We have with us my husband's favorite aunt, Tita Bebot, from Bacolod. We wanted to show her why we fell in love with Anvaya.

We did what every man dreamed to do while on the beach!

Let me count the ways:

We swam in the ocean blue and tried out the different pools.

We frolicked in the sands.

And we just took long walks along the shoreline.

We sampled the delicious food at the Pawikan Grill and Bamboo Cafe.

Most of the time though we were just cocooned inside the comfy Lagoon Suites.

The Club has many activities to celebrate the Philippine German Day that weekend and they were getting ready for Octoberfest.

The kids were excited to join in the age-old Filipino game of hitting the palayok.

There were many "contestants" who joined, kids from 3 years old and up.

Much to our amazement and glee, our two kids, Andie and Jaime, joined in and both won the game! That really made us proud...

The following day, we were joined by Gerard's sister, Daydine, and husband GP and his family.

It was one of those precious moments that we got to spend time with our "extended families".

Oh, we also met the newest additions to the family - cute Agatha and baby Ayanna!

With Gerard's sis, Din, Andie, Tita Eva and baby girl Agatha

I topped this great day with the best memory I had of our Anvaya weekend:

A tall refreshing signature island iced tea, and a good read on Buffetology!

Now that's what I call a perfect weekend!

How was your weekend?

Where did you spend yours?

Whom did you spend it with?

Keep Walking!
